So what is Wubi?
It’s basically an unofficial installer that allows you to install Linux on a Windows computer like how you install an application on Windows. Of course means all you guys out there who want to try Linux, but worry about screwing up your Windows OS, this is the solution for you.

Recently, I discovered that SecureIX free accounts got a speed boost. So I have devised a new method to defeat Rogers bittorrent throttling. Of course this can be applied to any other ISP that throttles as well. This method isn’t perfect, but I think it works pretty nicely.
The first thing you do is sign up for a free account at SecureIX.
The method works quite simply. If your ISP does not throttle download, and only upload (which is the case of Rogers), then simply download the files from the torrent using your normal connection.

The first thing I have to say before I give you a few ways to get more traffic is: This article does not give you quick ways into getting web traffic. All of these methods have been collected from other guides and put into one that I feel is the best combination.

Metadata here means that the file contains information about the files/data you want to download. It only provides a few kb of information about where your Bittorrent client can… Continue reading

When we all try out a new program or operating system, we always are hindered in speed becuase we don’t know the shortcuts. So to help those who don’t know shortcuts, I have listed below two sources for shorcuts to two pieces of software.
The first one is MacOS X. Switching operating systems is a big change. You need to learn a lot of new things about how the OS works and functions. Equally important are knowing shortcuts, so here they are:

The second resource is Firefox shortcuts. Well since Microsoft seems to be unable to make a truly secure and… Continue reading
