Steampunk - The Best of Hi-Tech and Old-Tech

For many anime fans out there, you’ll know what steampunk is. In fact, it isn’t only restricted to anime, the setting is also used in video games such as Final Fantasy and even some Hollywood movies. For others who don’t know what steampunk is, it basically is a world where technology from the Industrial Revolution (19th Century) and Victorian-England styling meet and combine smoothly with science-fiction or fantasy elements such as futuristic technologies and devices.

Basically, I am a massive fan of steampunk. Some great examples of steampunk is Last Exile and Full Metal Alchemists.

Beijing 2008: Another Disappointment for Canada

To all you Canadians out there, you understand my pain, right? Cheering for our athletes just to see them fall short of a medal and even be eliminated in the first or second round of their sport. It is something I’ve seen time and time again.

After watching them lose several times to other countries like the USA and Australia, I can only come to one conclusion, we need to overhaul our system for supporting athlete.
