Black Lagoon Gets Third Season

That’s right all you Black Lagoon fans (myself included). I just got word today from Anime News Network that Black Lagoon has been green-lit for a third season. That means more gun fights, blood, swearing and over-the-top action sequences, stories and crime bosses for just about everything!

However there haven’t been any details about when it will be released and if it is going to be licensed for distribution in North America. Also, it is not yet known if animation studio Madhouse and director Sunao Katabuchi will be returning to bring this series to TV once again. Fans can only wait and pray that the same staff will get back together once again to bring us more of what has made this anime series so revered among anime fans.
