So it’s finally happened, the format wars are over and some camp has lost several billion dollars. The loser is HD DVD. They already were heading towards defeat when several studios switch to the other camp, but the largest and probably the fatal blow came when Walmart announced that they would be phasing out HD DVDs on their shelves to be completely replaced by Blu-Ray disks.

Dennou Coil is one of those more interesting sci-fi animes out there.

An anime adaptation of the popular novel, which was found on Laserdisc.

This Winter 2008 anime is quite interesting. While it is not fast-paced, it is definitely a worthwhile watch.

Murder Princess is an action-packed anime with decent production values for an OVA.

This anime is quite funny, while providing a decent fix of martial arts action.
