Recently I decided as a side project, to get a gallery up and running for my blog. I would use it to display anime screenshots to help with my reviews of anime, when I do them.

So eager as I was I ran out into the world to find myself a little gallery script that could integrate nicely with WordPress. Well I’ve been failing ever since. I have found many nice gallery scripts. However none combine the power, functionality, flexibility I need with nice integration into WordPress.

Right now I’m playing with Gallery2, and while the WPG2 plugin allows you to integrate your Gallery2 stuff in, it doesn’t do it too nicely, and doesn’t offer many options such as embedding specific albums.

So now I’m looking into Coppermine, although I have no clue how to integrate it into WordPress.

I’ve also tried NextGEN gallery, however that has constantly given me errors.

Hopefully someone out there will make a powerful flexible gallery that I need.
