Hitachi Maxell 1TB SVOD optical disc cart

Well here is something interesting. Apparently Hitachi has made DVD discs that are very thin, about 92 micrometers thick that can hold 9.4 gb. If you stack a bunch of them together, you can get a 1 terabyte optical disk array that is still a reasonable size. More at the Engadget.com link above.
